Leonardo DiCaprio in talks for 'Django Unchained'

In the past ten years DiCaprio has worked with some of the most acclaimed directors, including Christopher Nolan and Martin Scorsese. Will Quentin Tarantino be added to that list? Rumor is floating around that DiCaprio is in talks to play the main antagonist known as 'Calvin Candie' who owns a plantation in Mississippi known as 'Candyland'. On the plantation he holds Gladiatorial battles between the male slaves and sexually exploits the females.
Personally, I trust Tarantino with my life so anyone he casts will be perfect. He has his vision and knows exactly what he wants, if he wants DiCaprio then he's the man for the role.
Also apparently when Tarantino wrote Inglorious Basterds he had DiCaprio in mind to play Col. Hans Lander, the character that Christoph Waltz would later win an Oscar for portraying.
Would you like to see him play a villain? Or is it too soon to see the heart throb in play a truly evil man.
